Are you struggling to find well-trained professionals in the BFSI sector? The BFSI Consortium
bridges the gap between education and industry by providing students with the skills they need for a
successful career.
The BFSI Consortium, led by BFSI experts, integrates real-world industry knowledge into
undergraduate programs. We equip students with the skills needed for success in finance, banking,
and insurance, ensuring they are job-ready and aligned with industry standards.
More than 5 lakh students – a significant portion of the graduating population – would require targeted training programs to ensure they possess the necessary skills and qualifications to thrive in the BFSI sector. BFSI Consortium addresses this gap between the students and the BFSI industry by equipping students with relevant skills and preparing them for a career in this sector. The Consortium introduces a structured curriculum that includes domain-specific knowledge, technical skills, and behavioral training, curated by industry leaders.
With Global Capability Centres (GCCs) booming in India and 30-35% of GCCs being in the BFSI industry, this sector opens a world of opportunities across various roles, from banking and financial analysis to insurance and risk management, enabling students to explore different career paths and roles.
This program is led by industry leaders, offering closely mentored experiences and potential internship opportunities, propelling the student directly into the heart of the BFSI sector.
For the first 10,000 eligible students, at no cost to the student and no cost to the government, the program will be implemented. Students interested in joining are encouraged to reach out to their college administration.
Any undergraduate student who is interested in pursuing a career in the BFSI sector is eligible to apply.
The onboarding process begins with registration. Once registered, the student will be required to participate in a pre-assessment for the BFSI Consortium. The pre-assessment score would determine the subjects that would be allocated to the student.
The curriculum includes domain-specific knowledge, technical training, and behavioral skills, all curated by industry leaders to ensure relevance and applicability in the BFSI sector.
